About North Mountain Dog Ranch

NMDR was set up with the desire to offer enrichment-led, reliable, customized 5-star service for you and your dog. Currently, we offer:

At NMDR, your dog's needs come first. We take the time to get to know you and your dog to set them up for success, and so you can actually relax and not worry when you and your best friend are apart! We have a family business philosophy, and regular events for both dogs and clients, and encourage you to be as involved as you would like.

About Holly

Holly grew up with animals, rescued her first dog at age 22 and never looked back! With an educational background in business and a passion for dogs and all animals, she set up dog daycare from her UK home in 2015. Holly's House of Hounds served clients from all over the UK and was hugely successful. She remains firm friends with many previous clients, and their owners! Having moved to Nova Scotia a few years ago, this year the time was right to open the next generation of dog care facilities from her property on the North Mountain.

Holly has previously worked at Guide Dogs for the Blind, alongside some of the best dog trainers in the world! She has also volunteered and worked for the SPCA here in NS, and is trained and well practiced to administer medications. She is a qualified canine first aider and has extensive experience with bull-breed dogs.

Holly lives at home on site with her 2 rescue fur-kids, Hippo and Rhino. When she's not spending time with her dogs, she... wait, she's with them 24/7!
