Everyone needs a holiday, but leaving your furry friend can be stressful for many reasons. At North Mountain Dog Ranch, we follow your instructions, so whether your dog wants to sleep on their bed, on the sofa or in their crate, we will facilitate their needs to make being away from home as enjoyable as possible, and so you can fully relax and enjoy your time without worrying.

 

All dogs that board with us are fully included in daycare, so benefit from the full day of play and exercise with other dogs. Depending on their exercise needs, we get out for walkies in the evening, or have a play in the daycare area again. Most dogs are exhausted after daycare, so are happy to relax in the evenings! Bedtime cuddles are, of course, included! At the weekends, we do longer walks and often take day trips further afield and regularly to the beach.

 

All boarding takes place in the house. Boarders are treated as one of the family and enjoy every luxury of home, including cuddles on the sofa and a wood stove to fall asleep in front of! They sleep overnight in large crates in the living area, with their bed and blankets from home.

During your dog's stay, we will send you photos and updates as often as you would like, so you are confident that your dog is happy and being well looked after. We only take on a maximum of 4 boarders at a time, so our spaces book up FAST, and we have a strict cancellation policy. Details of this can be found on our FAQs page.

When you are planning to go away, the reliability of your dog care provider is extremely important. Whilst daycare may have to occasionally close given weather conditions, illness or unforeseen circumstances, boarding will not. We are set up for any eventuality and can adjust stay dates to accommodate the weather if necessary. No last minute closures means you can book your trip with confidence, knowing that your dog will have a place to stay no matter what.

 

In order to make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible when they come to stay, ALL dogs must undergo a free trial overnight stay* before any boarding booking will be confirmed.
